Cocoa hot chocolate

Ingredients

  • Cocoa powder2 tbsp
  • Sugar or to taste1 tbsp
  • Whole milk8½ oz
  • Salt (optional)1 pinch

Garnish: Marshmallows or whipped cream (optional)

Method

  1. Mix the cocoa and sugar with 2 tablespoons of the milk to make a smooth paste.
  2. Heat the rest of the milk in a pan until steaming but not boiling.
  3. Whisk the paste into the hot milk until smooth and frothy.
  4. Pour into a mug and top with marshmallows or whipped cream if you like.
